City Under the Moon – Dance Drama Harmony in Eternal Melody

Using dance as a brush and music as ink, Harmony in Eternal Melody is like a long ballad set to the music of the Chu state. When He Cheng, the new king of the He state, succeeds to the throne, the Yue state sends bronze chime bells as gifts, hoping to secure peace between the two countries. But during the night, assassins come. With the general of the He state vowing vengeance, King He Cheng is caught in a dilemma. At the expedition ceremony, the musician-dancer Xi Yin comes forward to uncover the conspirators’ plot, and finally harmony and peace are restored. The production also features 1:1 replicas of ancient instruments such as bronze chime bells from the Hubei Provincial Museum to conjure up an ancient Chu atmosphere.
