【Additional tickets for sale】Chinese Culture Festival 2025: City under the Moon – Dance Drama Azure After the Rain by Shanghai Dance Theatre

Due to overwhelming response, 76 additional tickets in total for the two performances (including box seats with restricted view*) at price zones of $500, $420 and $220*, accompanied by unsold or unreserved wheelchair seats will be available for sale at URBTIX (website and mobile ticketing app booking only) from 10am on the respective day of performances (26-27 September 2025). 【Postponement】Chinese Culture Festival 2025: Azure After the Rain

Due to Super Typhoon Ragasa, the Azure After the Rain – Dance Workshop scheduled on 24 September 2025 (Wednesday) at 4pm at GR1, 6/F, Grand Theatre Backstage, Hong Kong Cultural Centre has been rescheduled to 27 September 2025 (Saturday) at 10:30am at the Podium Workshop, Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

Ticket holder(s) of the workshop may present the original ticket(s) for admission to the workshop on 27 September (Saturday) at 10:30am.  Ticket holder(s) who are unable to attend the rescheduled workshop are reminded to keep the original intact ticket(s) (with stubs) for refund arrangement. For details of refund arrangement, please refer to the announcement at Cultural Presentations Section website and Facebook at a later stage, or contact us during office hours at 2268 7323.

【Update Screening Details】Chinese Opera Festival 2025: Chinese Opera Film Shows

The running time of the Cantonese Opera film “Lui Bo Captures Diu Sim” (1956), scheduled for screening at 7:45 pm on Saturday, 30 August 2025 at the Hong Kong Space Museum Lecture Hall, is updated from 103 minutes to 90 minutes. There will be no subtitles provided in the film.

Programme Arrangement under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8

Due to Typhoon Wipha, programmes scheduled for 20 July 2025 (Sun) will be arranged as follows:

 

Chinese Culture Festival 2025: Stage Play in Cantonese“Tea-horse Road.Ballad of the Fallen Dragon”by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Hong Kong Member Association (HKL&A)
Due to inclement weather, the performance originally held on 20 July 2025 (Sun) 2:30pm in Theatre, Sheung Wan Civic Centre will be arranged as follows:

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered before 11:30am on 20 July, the programme will be held as scheduled.

If Tropical Cyclone Warning No. 8 or above, or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, is lowered between 11:30am and 12 noon on 20 July, the programme will commence at 3pm on the same day.

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered after 12 noon on 20 July, the programme will be cancelled.

In case of cancellation, patrons may keep the original intact ticket(s) (with stubs) for refund arrangement. For details, please refer to the announcement at presenter’s website (www.hkwl.org) and 「香港文聯」(HKL&A) Facebook page at a later stage, or contact the presenter at 9615 1485 (HKL&A) during 9:00am-6:00pm from Mon-Fri.

Due to inclement weather, the performance originally held on 20 July 2025 (Sun) 7:30pm in Auditorium, Kwai Tsing Theatre will be arranged as follows:

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered before 4:30pm on 20 July 2025, the programme will be held as scheduled.

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, is lowered between 4:30pm and 5pm on 20 July, the programme will commence at 8pm on the same day.

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered after 5pm on 20 July 2025, the programme will be cancelled.

Due to inclement weather, the exhibition originally held on 20 July 2025 (Sun) 10am – 8pm in Exhibition Gallery 1-5, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library will be arranged as follows:

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered before 6pm on the day, the exhibition will re-open two hours after the Signal is cancelled.

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered at or after 6pm on the day, the exhibition will remain closed.

Due to inclement weather, the exhibition Talk II originally held on 20 July 2025 (Sun) 3pm in Exhibition Gallery 1-5, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library will be arranged as follows:

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered at or before 1pm on the day, the talk will be held as scheduled.

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered after 1pm on the day, the talk will be cancelled.

Due to inclement weather, the seminar originally held on 20 July 2025 (Sun) 3pm in AC2, Level 4, Administration Building, Hong Kong Cultural Centre will be arranged as follows:

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered at or before 12:00 noon on 20 July, the seminar will be held as scheduled.

If Typhoon Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is lowered after 12 noon on 20 July, the seminar will be rescheduled to 26 July 2025 (Sat) at 3pm at the same venue.
