Cantonese Opera master Law Ka-ying took 10 years to evolve this masterpiece, adapted from the famous French drama Cyrano de Bergerac , transforming the French battlefield into the ancient fort of the Ming dynasty, and turning the triangle love story borne out of writing witty and touching letters into a Cantonese Opera piece. Law Ka-ying stars as Zhu Bufan, Cyrano in the original play, who is in love with the beautiful and talented heroine, played by Liza Wang, while Sun Kim Long plays a character that sacrifices for love.
